Controlled Mail is ready to serve you. Our goal is to provide a secure and reliable outbound mail service for small businesses and individuals who are concerned to ensure that their domain names are not forged. Controlled Mail provides direct, personalized customer service.
Controlled Mail uses strict SMTP Auth and other access controls to ensure that users can only send mail from authorized mail addresses. Controlled Mail Publishes Sender Policy Framework (SPF) records and will sign mail using DKIM for customers that request it. Controlled Mail will support other anti-forgery technologies as they mature.
Our goal is to give smaller entities who either don't possess the technical expertise or don't want to invest the time to run their own mail server the anti-forgery benefits that generally require a dedicated mail server.
Controlled Mail is for e-mail sent by people to people. It does not support mass mailings or e-mail lists (whether solicited or not). The service will be message rate limited with limits based on account service level to enforce this policy.
Controlled Mail will scan for virus in outbound mail, but will not do other content scanning. Your (non-spam) e-mail is your business at Controlled Mail.
